Who we are...
City On A Hill(COAH) Connection was started by Seminary students in 2003 in Fort Worth, Texas as a network of churches who partnered together to impact Fort Worth. Over the next six years, COAH saw churches birthed among Cubans, Bhutanese, and other refugee communities in Fort Worth as well as workplaces. In 2010, COAH started sending it's first missionaries out, now serving in India and South America.
In 2012, COAH Connection transformed into COAH Missions. COAH Missions strived to equip and provide opportunities for followers of Christ to connect with one another and be on mission together in their local context as well as internationally. We believe that followers of Jesus are called to make disciples, specifically in their local context. During this time, we sent Family Mission Teams to Cusco, Peru and Leticia Colombia. We also acted as a sending agency, supporting the work of missionaries in Ecuador and Peru. Locally, we spent years engaging the homeless in Fort Worth. We started Miracle Messages DFW that helped reunite those struggling with homelessness back with their families. We sent teams of high school students down to love on the homeless by hosting activities, providing water and snacks, and being a listening ear.
In 2018, Adam and Diana Clay, who were the last founding couple of COAH Connection still in the USA were called to the Dominican Republic. COAH Missions is transitioning again into an organization that will focus on supporting those who have a call to make disciples overseas. We serve as a means for the missionaries to raise support, as well as a connection point for mission teams interested in coming alongside the missionaries by serving overseas. While COAH has changed alot since its founding in 2003, its mission and core values have never changed.
